Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionCirculon guarantees that food won't stick to this griddle, and that it will outlast all other non-sticks. Now those are words to live and cook by! The patented rings provide a hi-lo cooking surface that gives food little to stick to, and the additional coating of non-stick material closes up any loopholes. So go ahead, fry a pancake without butter, it will slide right out of the pan.

Features:
  • Harder-than-steel anodized aluminum beneath nonstick coating
  • Uncoated bottom conducts heat quickly and prevents hot spots
  • Slip-resistant synthetic grip on riveted, stainless-steel handle
  • Hand-washing recommended
  • Lifetime warranty against defects

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - uneven cooking
I chose this griddle because of the reviews: people glowed about this pan, and several had negative things to say about the anolon ones. I really wanted to be able to make pancakes, and didn't want an electric skillet or griddle because of the storage space those take up. I have used it three times now, and I find that the heating surface heats up pretty unevenly. You can definitely tell where the burner is under the pan, as the pancakes definitely cook unevenly. The pan is hefty, pretty nonstick, and the circulon ridges are lower nowadays, so bits won't get stuck between them. Not certain I'll keep it, however, because of the hotspots: was definitely not expecting this to be an issue in an aluminum pan this thick.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Griddle
This is a replacement for another griddle whose teflon coating was peeling off. For health reasons we no longer buy coated utensils anymore, with the exception of those from Circulon, because we have never had those to peel or deteriorate. It is extremely well made, does not warp and a breeze to clean. This is probably the best griddle on the market.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Best!
We have a flat top stove and this item will not warp! It sits flat unlike others we've tried.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Sturdy and functional
I was not familiar with this brand until I bought a piece at a local store. I've not had great luck with other brands of slick coated pans, but Circulon seems to hold up. Good solid heat proof handles so you don't burn yourself when stir frying or grilling. Washes up nicely. And, most importantly, that anti-stick coating seems to stay put no matter what. So now I own a large fry pan with a lid and this griddle. Thank you Circulon! I will recommend your griddles and frying pans highly to anyone who asks.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good pan
I purchase this pan as a gift and had it sent to the recipient. I have been told it is a great griddle. Nice and heavy and nonstick.

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?
