Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - So far, so good
This blender is very powerful. It is also quite heavy and feels like it has quality manufacturing and finishing. It pulverizes ice in about 2 seconds flat, and has no problem blending even when completely full. The only problem is that the pour spout is almost non-existent, so depending on the consistency of what you blended, pouring can be tricky (particularly with thick frozen drinks). Great deal for the price.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works Great
I purchased a factory reconditioned unit for $40 bucks. In todays blender market, where it's hard to find one under $100, I think it was a steal! I've only been making shakes, smoothies & frozen drinks with this.. It crushes the ice and mixes the drinks in a few seconds. The unit looks great, although made out of "brushed steel" looking plastic which will probably eventually crack.
The motor & glass container weigh a lot, so it feels like to should last a while.
Great buy if you can get a factory reconditioned model!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - After 4 blenders, I can say this one is my favorit
The delivery was really fast.
I was wondering, as the price is so low, if the product will be powerfull enough to deal with ice and hard things in general.
I used it only once, and I can say, so far so good!
It did reduce to a delicious smoothie a very big bag of frozen strawberries
which were kind of a compact block of ice...speed is really good and it's easily washable, even in the dishwasher!!
good deal!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Reliable but noisy machine
I've been using this blender daily for the past couple of weeks. It is very sturdy, a little noisy because of the big plastic base but still makes an excellent smoothie if you get the liquid to frozen fruit ratio correct (my problem not its).

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - cusinart blender
i received this blender today and it is worth every penny and i was surprised of the quality of it, one of the customers complained about too much plastic please it is solid.. very heavy buy this item you won't be sorry!

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?
