Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - GOOD DEAL
I got it before i read some review.... it's easy to use .. good deal... should buy it if you are wine drinker

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works fine...Just need to know how to use it...
Was worried after reading the reviews that this wouldn't work, but, the price was too good to pass up so I thought I'd try it. I'm glad I did! It works great! You need to put the rubber stopper on the wine bottle first and then place the pump over the stopper. While keeping the stopper on the bottle with one hand, you pump the handle up-and-down until you get resistance. I had to try it a couple times before I got the hang of it. I bought another one as a gift and he absolutely loves it too. I didn't give it 5 stars because it does not have the instructions with it and is not packaged nicely. But, at this price what can one expect?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent product
Bought this for my wife..... the lush! Keeps wine fresh tasting for days. We drink mostly port wines so can't respond to how it works in the refrigerator. Decent product that does what it's suppose to do.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Easy to use, good looking, work well, and good price
There are many wine vacuum pumps, and the prices vary in a big range. The Pinzon pump has a nice chrome finish, and it is very easy to use. It works effectively. I can easily feel by the resistence that it is pumping out the air. When I open the bottle again, the refreshing sound of the pop is very assuring. It helps me keep the wine in good quality for days. The pack comes with two stoppers; you don't need anything else. The pump also works with the other stoppers that I already had. The price is a shouting bargain. I paid more than that just for the stoppers.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Most disappointed
I was most disappointed in this product. There were no instructions, but it didn't seem too dificult to figure out. Nevertheless, I could not create any vacuum whatsoever with the pump and stopper. I have no idea if mine was simply defective or if it just doesn't work.

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

LONDON (Reuters) - Governments across the world launched multi-billion dollar bailouts on Monday to shore up tottering global banks and Britain called for a new Bretton Woods agreement to reshape the world financial system.

I love adding internet connectivity to retarded stuff that really has no business sending totally inconsequential bits out into the world. Laurier Rochon and Marc Beaulieu apparently agree with their deodorant docking station that keeps track of when you take the deodorant out and how long you have to slather it on your pits (or anywhere else), and instantly uploads the stats to iamclean.org via ethernet cable. It's meant to highlight privacy issues in our culture of oversharing or whatever, but I'm slightly more concerned about the lengthy gaps between the days Rochon wore deodorant.
