Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionSanyo's convection oven combines the best of powerful convection cooking, baking and toasting with a stylish, stainless steel design. The convection oven features full-width heaters on top and bottom and twin convection inlets for rapid and even heat distribution. It keeps track of the cooking progress with its 40-minute digital timer and lighted countdown indicators. Use it to cook meat and poultry dishes, bake pies and casseroles, toast up to four slices of bread at once and reheat leftovers. The width of the opening is 10-in. wide - large enough to hold a 10-in. pizza or a 9-in. pie. The panel on front offers one-touch toasting for heating one, two or three-to-four slices of bread for perfect browning every time. It even allows for bread that's frozen. The temperature ranges from 180- to 470-degrees F for precise baking. For easier access to hot baking sheets or pie pans, the oven's rack automatically slides out when the door is opened; remove the oven rack completely for easy cleaning. Included with your Sanyo convection oven is a nonstick oven tray and crumb tray and an English/Spanish instruction manual with recipes.

Features:
  • 1350-watt 4-slice digital convection oven cooks, bakes, toasts, and reheats
  • Full-width top and bottom quartz heaters and twin convection inlets for even heating
  • 5 temperature settings; adjustable toast-shade control; 40-minute timer
  • Removable easy-to-clean oven rack and non-stick crumb tray
  • Measures 15-3/4 by 9 by 12-1/2 inches

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Convection Oven
Excellent performance and worked better than other 2 models I used recently. Highly recommend it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Fun While It Lasted
I bought this oven and used it as a toaster several times a week for the first couple of months. The results were not the best, but once I got the timing and placement of the slices of bread down, the product did the job. It wasn't as good as a dedicated toaster, but I expected that.

One of the big reasons I bought this was to use the oven feature so I wouldn't have to heat up my full size gas oven when cooking for myself. I finally had the need for this about 3 months after I purchased it. By that time, I had lost the instructions, but didn't expect there would be a problem. I was wrong. After a lot of trial and error, I realized that the heat sensor in the product was broken. When trying to heat the oven, it would start fine, but would shut off around 200 degrees, regardless of the temperature setting. Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until after Amazon's 30 day return period, so my only option is to try to find my paperwork and go to the manufacture for repair under the warranty. I know myself well enough to realize that won't happen, so I'm stuck with buying another unit instead.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Sanyo SK-VF7S toaster oven
My previous two toaster ovens bit the dust. The more recent one really didn't last very long. I read the reviews here and at a couple of other consumer review sites. I ended up purchasing from a seller here on Amazon.com I got a very good deal, the shipping was fast, and the packaging was great. This toaster is easy to use, and works well. I especially like the way the grill grate slides out when you open the oven door. No need to reach inside a hot oven to get your toast. I've baked a few things like tater tots, etc... no problemo. It's solidly built, you'll like it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice Little Oven
After having used this oven for several months, I can say that we're pretty pleased with it. The toast is pretty evenly browned, even if it sometimes takes a bit more than one cycle to finish. The oven heats evenly and quickly. The set temperatures are a little odd, but we've found that if you use the setting below the recipe specifications, you'll do fine. I can even bake brownies and not have them burn in the middle, like some other small ovens we've owned (Black and Decker). Considering its small footprint, you can bake a lot, since the interior is surprisingly roomy.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Sanyo Convection Toaster Oven - Great Product
I finally have this toaster oven and it's great. Works great and looks great. I originally ordered this through Walmart.com since it was cheaper. It was shipped site to store not once but twice and came in damaged both times. If you are considering purchasing this product I would suggest ordering it from Amazon. It may be a bit more expensive but the lack of frustration, aggrevation and not having to deal with Walmart.com and their drop kick delivery method was well worth the extra money. The item was delivered quickly and in perfect condition.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.
