Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - So far... So OK...
OK, I just got this bad boy last night. It's not bad. The instructions are some of the most poorly written P.O.S. out there. At one point in the instructions it calls for you to assemble two 'plates.' Not a clue what that means as it was all put together, sans the remote. Which you just tossed the batteries into. So, I fired the thing up and it was pretty damn warm. The size of the thing seems much smaller than it appears here. The blue light, contrary to what some people are re-reporting, it does not dim after time. I'll check again tonight, but I'm pretty sure it didn't. The oscillation on mine seemed wacked. It says 120 degrees, but mine just seemed to turn to the left 90 degrees. So, it would come centered and then turn back to the left, then back to center, then left, etc... You'd think it'd go to the right at some point... No idea. Also, can't tell if the thermostat on it is properly gauging the tempature. It'd constantly bounce from 63 to 64 to 63 to 64 and so on... Random. Meanwhile, my places thermostat showed the tempature increasing. I'm attributing this, for now, to the unit being on the floor where it probably is around 63/64. Last night wasn't really a cold night around here, so I'm not sure how this baby will work on cold nights. We'll have to see there.

Edit - One additional note, don't believe the description on this page saying there is an ON timer. There isn't. At least, I don't see it. There is a 'sleep' timer which shuts off after your set time.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for those with little ones & pets...love it!
I bought this to help save money on my electric bill, which it has done pretty well. I like the simple, sleek design and added features. Moreso I am impressed with the safety features of this unit. I have a curious three year old, and an indoor dog and this heater has truly been a lifesaver! The dog will sometimes bump the heater, and it immeadiately shuts off. I love that feature! I feel safe knowing that if it ever fell over, I wouldn't need to worry.
A few other things that reassure me (especially with the little one)...The plastic silver part of the unit does not get hot. Another feature that I love is that you need to push the button on the base, and the one under the plastic cover to turn it on. My daughter was smart enough to lift the lid and push the button, but it didn't come on due to the base button not being on.
Lastly, I love how lightweight it is, as others I have seen seem to weigh quite a bit more, and the remote is a bonus for when I wake up in the middle of the night cold, I don't even have to get out of bed to turn it on!
Definately would recommend.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - EXCELLENT HEATER
Heats our living space great. The timer is a great option. I am going to buy another one, my third, for my mother.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great heater, loud beeps
Pro: This heater is surprisingly effective at heating large rooms.

Con: Every time you change a setting, it beeps, and the beeps are *very* loud. This has limited our use of it anywhere near our sleeping baby.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - not what I was expecting
This heater is okay, just not what I was hoping or expecting from the discription that it gave.
I don't feel as if the fan blows out enough heat, esp. on high.
I wouldn't buy another one, for the price.
