I purchased these with high hopes based on reviews but was greatly disappointed. First, the latch arrived with significant rust on it. Not sure if that affects anything other than asthetics but that sucks to see rust on a new item.

As for functionality, I found that the straps would cause my body to swing during reverse crunches, especially if my legs are fully extended. I guess if you install it up against a wall it would solve that problem. However, I installed a pull-up bar in the garage away from the wall and I was hoping to use it with these ab straps. Now I only do pull-ups on the bar because the straps aren't worth the workout. Not anymore effective than other situp methods.

I like these straps, just hooked them up to a horizontal bar in my garage and have been using them for about 1 month and so far a I have a 4 pack abs(up from a 2 pack using just crunches) , you know what I mean, the last 2 right around the belly are the hardest to get. easy to use.

When I went to buy ab straps I was baffled by the various price range. I have used these straps for a year and expect they will last for years with no complaint. Well made, great product, and a very reasonable price.

My only concern when purchasing these was whether or not the clip would be big enough. Upon receiving, I was quickly reassured that that would not be an issue. These things are a great workout, stomach is killing me already!
