you wanna be a hotshot, get a whetstone and go to culinary academy. BUT, if you want a simple, durable, inexpensive, very effective knife sharpener, bingo! i advise against some 20 lb., overly complex, electric thigamajig. REMEMBER...with many sharpeners, manual, electric, whatever, including this one, they have a coarse slot and a fine slot. use coarse only when your knives are REALLY dull; it removes a lot of metal and restores the edge, but overuse will result in your hatori santuko or sabatier becoming an icepick. use the fine slot mostly. and sharpening steels look and sound cool, but they don't sharpen...they remove tiny imperfections and burrs as a final step. love this product.
Rating: - Great Sharpener
I love this knife sharpener. It works well and is easy to use. And I don't feel unsafe using it. It works great on knives and scissors. I had a drawer full of knives that I was ready to throw away and start with all new. I decided to give this a try and love my knives again. I had forgotten how much easier (and safer) it is to cut food with a sharp knife! All of my relatives are getting this for Christmas.
Rating: - Great product!
Better and easier than using a steel or a huge electric sharpener. The design makes it almost impossible to sharpen the knife at the wrong angle and it fits nicely in a kitchen drawer. It's got a coarse sharpener and a fine sharpener, which makes is quick and easy to sharpen a really dull knife (a few swipes through one, then a few swipes through another, and you're all set!). Great buy! Would definitely recommend.
It is very easy to use, it is "foolproof" (e.g. you do not have to think about holding the knife at the right angle). And I have my good old knives back!
Highly recommended!
Rating: - Excellent Product!
I've tried several different knife sharpeners in my life and I've never come across one so versatile and user friendly as this product! Not only does it sharpen your knives, it also sharpens scissors. It's very easy to use as well, you just hold the non-slip handle onto a steady surface and the grips at the bottom keep it stable while you are sharpening. It only takes a few swipes of the sharpening edge and a couple more of the ceramic refining edge to get my blades sharp enough to split a strand of hair, just like in the cartoons!
SAP co-CEO Henning Kagermann allegedly held strong concerns at one point about the legal implications of buying TomorrowNow, the now-shuttered SAP subsidiary tied to a lawsuit filed by rival vendor Oracle.
All About N-Gage have the dirt on a game that looks like it has a lot of potential: Asphalt: Urban GT. I can't say that I've played much more than some FIFA and other random stuff on the N-Gage, but a good racer can add a lot of value to a gaming platform. Of course I'm still waiting to see if Call of Duty rocks as much as it should.
